How does progression work?

1. End of September 2013 all AAC coaches meet and decide upon group structure aimed at 1:14 ratios if possible

2. End of September 2013 athletes from reception group are filtered into new coaching structure. This will involve group of approximately 10 athletes tasting endurance for 1x half term, then sprints and hurdles for 1x term and finally jumps for 1x term term.

3. Following this period of sampling different event groups athletes are filtered into ability appropriate event group and given the opportunity to practice more than one event by working with a number of groups (i.e. speed on Monday, jumps on Thursday)

4. End of September 2014 – Reception to Development group progression process starts again

5. Development to Performance groups progression - based on Pof10 top 100, AAA Grade 4 and coaches discretion about potential ability of athlete
